Leo governs the heart in the physical body also the chest, spine, upper back, cardiac systems and circulatory systems.  When Leo energy is imbalanced it can manifest into physical alignments such as, heart disease, heartburn, weak circulation, and can also show up as an overbearing personality.  

Leo’s are fixed fire and they’re going to want to get their way and always be right and will find balance through compromise. They can also have a tendency to dominate and like their fellow fire sign Aries, they can be hot tempered. Energetically Leo is ruled by the Crown Chakra, this is our highest connection to solar energy of the Sun this is why Leo’s are great at manifesting and calling in this energy to create prosperity and love.

Regal in their demeanor,  Leos can be very prideful and will need to work on a less egotistical way to interact with others and get their point across.  Their pride is easily hurt but luckily they are blessed with high self esteem and will quickly get over any upsets. 

Like fellow fire sign Aries, Leo’s will put themselves first and can sometimes appear as selfish and will often push their own agendas. But it feels amazing to be under the warmth of this sun sign and Leo’s will want to spoil you (mostly to show off what they did for you and get the recognition) but they will be lavish in their gestures and shows of love.

Leo craves the spotlight and fears being ignored. The Leo Mantra is: I Am Powerful. They will benefit from any type of fire rituals or sun rituals as this will help to counterbalance the attention seeking behavior or over dramatic behavior that can manifest through Leo energy.

Leo’s are best matched with fellow fire sign Aries and air sign Libra. Water can put out fire, so Pisces and Cancer are not the best option as well as earth sign Virgo who will be too critical for the prideful Leo.

Learning to let others have the spotlight and learning to share the attention with others is a big karmic lesson for Leo’s but this kind and generous sign will certainly rise to the challenge- and likely conquer. Leo’s, as with all fire signs, need a physical outlet to transmute the energy so all physical activity is great for Leo’s.
